Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Truetemp Corona Spray Foam Insulation website and any quote, scheduling or work you arrange with us. When you use the site, ask for a quote or book a job, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work through it.
Your own job will also have a written estimate or contract. If anything in it differs from these terms, the estimate or contract for your job controls.
What we do
Truetemp Corona Spray Foam Insulation is an insulation contractor in Corona, CA. We install spray foam, blown-in and other insulation, remove old insulation, air seal attics, and put in crawl space and vapor barriers for homes and businesses in Corona and the cities around it. You can read more on our About page or start from the home page.
The service descriptions on this site are general. The work we'll do at your house is set out in the written estimate for your job, because every attic, wall and crawl space is different.
Estimates and pricing
Quotes are free and given on site, and you're under no pressure to book. An estimate is based on what we can see and reach during the visit.
Sometimes we open an attic, wall or crawl space and find something the estimate didn't cover, such as wet or contaminated insulation, damaged framing or hidden gaps. When that happens, we'll stop and tell you before doing any extra work, and any change to the scope or price needs your written approval, including by text or email, before we go ahead.
An estimate holds for the period stated on it. Material prices change, so an older estimate may need updating before we schedule the work.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We'll agree on a start date with you and confirm it before the crew comes out. Weather, material supply, access and conditions we find on site can move a date, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.
You agree to give us safe access to the work area and to clear the attic hatch, garage or crawl space entry as we ask. Some materials, spray foam in particular, need the house or part of it cleared during and after the work, so you agree to follow the re-entry time we give you for your job, which is how long people and pets need to stay out.
If you need to cancel or move a job, call us as early as you can at (951) 393-1170. If we've already ordered materials or set aside crew time, your estimate or contract states what charges, if any, apply. Any right to cancel that California law gives you still applies.
Payment
Amounts, any deposit and due dates are set out in your estimate or contract. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's settled and may use the remedies California law allows a contractor to collect what's owed.
Our work and warranties
We're fully licensed and insured, and we want you satisfied with the job. If something doesn't look right after we finish, call us and we'll come back and look at it.
The warranty for your job is the one written in your contract, along with any manufacturer's warranty on the materials we install. Apart from those, and to the extent California law allows, we make no other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Insulation changes how your house holds heat, but we don't promise a set drop in your power bill or a set indoor temperature, because those also depend on your heating and cooling system, ductwork, windows, the weather and how you use the house.
The information on this website is general and offered as is. It isn't advice for your particular house, and it may not always be complete or current.
Limits on our liability
To the extent California law allows, Truetemp Corona Spray Foam Insulation isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from our website or our work, such as lost use of your home, lodging costs or lost income. Our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
We aren't responsible for conditions that were there before we started, such as hidden roof leaks, pests, mold or damaged wiring, unless our work caused them or made them worse. If we find one, we'll point it out to you.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't be limited under California law.
Settling a disagreement
If you're unhappy with anything, call us first. Most problems get sorted out quickly once we're back at the house and can see what's going on.
If we can't settle it between us, we're both willing to try mediation before going to court. If that doesn't work, either of us may bring the matter in small claims court or another court with jurisdiction in the county where the work was done.
Governing law
These terms, your use of this website and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time by posting a new version on this page. The version posted when you book a job applies to that job, and your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Questions about these terms
